Well, we tried to have babies the other night!!! Thursday night I started having contractions about 5pm and they got progressively closer and closer together and then started getting pretty painful. We tried all the tricks: water, restroom breaks, IV, a shot of Terb, shots of Demeral to ease the pain and nothing was working. They were less than a minute apart-one would end and immediately another would start. Such excitment! By 2 am they decided to move me over to Labor and Delivery because they were concerned that if I was in true labor my cerclage was going to tear out. (sorry) I was completely bummed that I had to move over to L&D because I wanted to stay with my nurses-all that were on duty that night were in the room with me. They wouldn't leave my side-they were so awesome. So off I went and really once I got to L&D everything started tapering off. I stayed there until late on Friday morning. I was so ready to get back "home" to my room and bed. My doctor doesn't think I will last another week but Brad seems to think I am going to continue to prove him wrong. I am not so sure :) Hence the picture: by this point, I just feel like I am chugga-chugga-choo-chooing along! I got my IV out this morning and I am trying to stay hydrated and off my feet...of which...are HUGE!! I am SOOO swollen-Dr. said it's from all the fluids and should go down. We are also watching my blood pressure too b/c it is slowly creeping up...again another side effect of the fluids at this point. Thankfully, my doctor is on-call this weekend which couldn't make me happier in case this is the end of the road. I am still hoping to hang on as long as possible but I am also at complete peace if A and B make their appearance soon. I could have never truly imagined that we would get this far when we got here at 19 weeks!
So please continue to pray for us-whatever the road may be! Can't wait to post their arrival though!!

Hey Meredith! My mom and I came to see you last weekend but you were sleeping and we didn't want to wake you up because you need your rest for you and those precious babies. Amy gave us your website so we can keep up with your progress, even though she keeps us updated every week at church. Andrew and I are keeping you in our thoughts and prayers and look forward to meeting those two little miracles. Keep hanging in there!

We love you and are thinking about you and your sweet babies! Monday is Lauren's 5th b-day and it has been a blessed day for us...so if they decide to come soon... then I hope it is the 29th :)
We are praying for you, Brad and Babies A and B! We cannot wait to find out if these little ones are boys or girls!
So exciting! We will continue to pray for your sweet little babies. We are anxiously checking back for more updates!
Wow! I am so proud of you and am cheering you on along. You have done so awesome. I know it isn't always so easy to stare up at those ceiling tiles. I am looking forward to hearing about their birth, how awesome they are doing and how quickly they will go home since you have been able to keep them baking for so long. Good job little Momma! Love- Jaime (Stone) Reed
I will pray for you and at least one more week!!!
I just got Brad's email. We are praying for you guys. You have been such a trooper through all of this.
Wow! Keep choo chooing along, and we'll be following along with you! Hang in there! :)
OH WOW! Just got Brad's email! Can't WAIT for the great news today!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So I think as of today you have 9 more days to tie the record...you can do it. I check almost every day for news, but I know you want them to stay in as long as possible. So we pray for continued "baking" and a great delivery when that timer goes off! We can't wait to see these little miracles. We love you!
