TWENTY-FOUR!!
We did it! Since the first day I got here, my doctor has said, "We've just got to make it to 24 weeks first!" And now we've done it Woo Hoo!!
The next goal is 28 weeks so here we go!
I am so interested in the "Gender Poll"! I wish there was a way to track why you vote like you do because I think it is so funny. I must admit I was slightly - and I emphasize SLIGHTLY - tempted yesterday during my sono b/c Brad wasn't there. Not that he is the one that doesn't want to know-really I am the one who insisted that we not find out, but I thought, "Ooooh, I could so find out right now and not tell anyone!" And trust me, I could completely keep it a secret, from EVERYONE, including Brad. But that thought quickly passed and I wouldn't want to be that sneaky and dishonest!! Besides I LOVE not knowing and waiting for my precious surprises!!
As for the babies, they are both measuring 1lb 8oz and we were able to see Baby B swallowing! That is a good sign of development at this point. Sweet and private Baby A just continued to hide all curled up-I feel like I have his/her little spine memorized by now!
I have finally started gaining weight again. I gained 4 lbs so that was good-making up for the loss earlier. I'm sure it can be contributed to the dinners I request from Brad, the VHC drinks, and all the goodies that everyone brings (Like tonight, Uncle Bart is bringing us BUBBA'S chicken-oh yummmm). I have cut off the "snacks" that the dietician ordered for me...seriously...I cannot eat another turkey sandwich at 7:15 at night ANYMORE. I just asked her to put it on hold for a little while...
Ok, that's all for now. I survived the first month with a breeze and look forward to the next 2! Heehee! I can't say that it has been bad at all. I have no swelling. I don't have to endure the heat outside. I sleep GREAT (how sad is that). I get to see more of my friends and loved ones more often than normal. I have made new friends with all my nurses. I get to see my doctor daily-you know-just in case you have that one question but don't want to call kind of thing. I don't have to fill up my car with expensive gasoline. I get to watch Wheel of Fortune every night!! Most of all, I know my babies are ok morning and night when we hear their heartbeats and weekly when we have sonos!! Really, I could go on and on but then y'all would think that I had gone nuts here. I just believe in the beauty of the silver lining-attitude is 99% of the battle right?

hi
I am so excited that you have made it to your first goal and that our precious little babies are growing on schedule and looking good!!! Most of all, I am proud of you and Brad for "making lemonade when life gave you lemons." Actually, it sounds like you (Meredith) are at some resort where some really neat people are pampering you royally and taking very special care of you. I am doing everything I can think of to check in and hang out with you for some R&R! ha Love, Ray Ray
You do have a gift for making your hospital stay seem lovely :) I'm so happy for you guys that you've reached 24! Praying the next leg of your pregnancy will be a breeze, too!
Good talking with you today! I think you are right on the money....a good attitude is essential! Keep up the good work!
Yeah for 24 months. I am so glad that you are doing so well and making the most of being there. It sounds like you are well taken care of. Miss you.
24 weeks! Yea! You have such a great attitude...I know the babies are feeling that. Hope to see you soon!
Yeah! You have such an awesome attitude about everything! I'm so glad the babies are cooperating! I'll see you soon!
Meredith,
You dont' know me but I work in the Wichita Falls office of Boley Featherston. I was asking Brad about you and the babies this morning and he gave me your blog. I just wanted you to know how happy I was to hear that you and Brad were finally getting the gift of God or in your case gifts of God. I am so glad you and the babies are doing so good and will continue to pray for you and your family.
God Bless

I am so happy for you and am checking your blog often and cheering you on. You are handling this time so well. I will be cheering you on for 28, but past that to 34 or 36 if your little body can take those rowdy two! I wish you were at my children's hospital so I could come and see you often! Congratulations on your little blessings! Love, a Kojie sista- Jaime
Congrats Meredith! I am glad that you and your babies are doing so well! We will keep you in our prayers to meet your next milestone!

Hello, this is so cool. This is Amber Deeds Mills!! My sister just found your site. We both have a blog too-www.jacksondeanmills.blogspot.com-you can access hers under blogs I like-Lily Bean. I would love to chat. Our email is www.mills03@verizon.net. I hope you meet more baby goals!!
I found your blog thru my friend Sandy's http://knottalot.blogspot.com/ who had a link to her friend the Patterson Twins and from there saw your link.. funny how we find blogs! :) I'm always interested in reading Twin blogs and thought it was neat to find yours because, I, too, live in the Dallas area and am pregnant with twins (2 girls!) AND we have the exact same due date!!! I noticed on your LilyPie counter... our numbers were the same. However, October rather than Nov 12 would be more like it. Praying for you and your sweet babies. Hang in there on bed rest!!
