Kathryn and Garrett are both doing well. Kathryn is off the ventilator and Garrett is still intubated because he's still having trouble breathing on his own. All the nurses say it's because he's a "wimpy white boy. " They'll both probably be in the NICU for a couple of weeks.
Meredith is doing well. Without going into all the details, she had some major complications on Monday night and ended up losing a lot of blood due to clotting in her uterus. If Dr. Wells hadn't been here, the nurses say she would have ended up in ICU. God was watching over her that night. She got two blood transfusions yesterday and is finally feeling better today. Due to the complications, she'll probably remain in the hospital until Monday so they can monitor her. She's trying to get back on her feet after being in the hospital for 100 days, so it's going to be an uphill battle for a while. She's requesting no visitors for now.
She may get to see the babies this afternoon, so we'll try and get some pictures and upload them here. Thanks again for all the prayers - this has been quite an adventure for us so far, but I'm sure the real adventure starts once we get Kathryn & Garrett home!

Thanks so much for the update. We've been praying for you guys & will continue to do so. Also, I have some preemie clothes to share with you whenever you need them. We found that the nursery's t-shirts didn't keep our little ones warm enough, so we bought some of our own sleepers, etc. Love you lots!
Thakns for the update. Steven and I are praying for Meredith and the babies. I am overwhelmed with joy for you all. We are praying for a healthy Meredith and healthy babies. Please, let us know if you need ANYTHING.
So thankful for healthy sweet babies AND for healthy Mommies!!! Man, I had no idea she had such a rough time! So scary. Just more answered prayers for your sweet family. And we'll keep praying for the twins and for Meredith to recover super-quick. Looking forward to pictures!
Thank you for the update, Brad! We will continue to pray for Meredith's recover and the babies. Please let us know if you guys need anything.
Thanks so much for the update. Keep them coming! You guys are on my heart
Amazed by your strength and incredible attitude through this whole experience. Your little ones are truly blessed. Wes and I will continue to pray for you and especially Meredith's strength. I work with patients on/after bedrest all the time...but it's incredible to realize what it does to a previously healthy/active person. I know God has brought you through these past months (years) and answered so many prayers...and I am thankful HE is with us all as we face each day of parenting with humility and awe:-)
Meredith,
Thanks for the update! Very sorry to know you had a rough time Monday night and am praying that you get better. I want to echo what Amy Wilson said...I have admired your strength and great attitude through this, and Brad, too, in his wonderful support of you!
We are praying for you Mere! Also for sweet Garrett, that his little lungs will strengthen soon.
Thanks for keeping us updated Brad.
Love ya'll!
