Nine Months

Here we are -- NINE MONTHERS! WOW! Life is pretty good around here! We are in a good groove and loving all that the twins are doing - which seems to be a lot these days. They are changing and developing so quickly. Kathryn is a speedster-she gets around EVERYWHERE and is so fast. She is still VERY independent but also loves to play with Garrett. She loves to just go go go. She still loves her lovie and sucks her fingers the second you give it to her but we will fight that battle later. She is a great sleeper and still LOVES her crib. She has enough hair now to wear a bow all by itself without the headband-sometimes we still have to wear it if the clip is too big-which is the case with some of our hand-me-down bows, but that's ok. She thinks it is so fun for me to wet her hair and comb it-she just smiles and jabbers and squeals. She is also pulling up on everything. She got a perfect check-up on Monday. She weighs 17lbs 12 oz (35%) and she is 27 1/2 inches long (50%). Garrett is such a stinker-he cracks me up all the time. He is overall a people person-likes to be entertained and doesn't like to be by himself. However, he is totally into "stranger-danger" with a lot of people so that can be crazy sometimes. He LOVES Kathryn and watches EVERY move she makes - which has helped him get-a-move-on...he is now rolling around everywhere, trying his best to crawl-although he still isn't there yet, and just as I write this, he sat up in his crib for the first time! Time to lower the mattress! He will be chasing K in no time. I love how he has his hand on K's leg in the next photo...I am telling you...he loves her! He weighs 18lbs 14oz (20% --up from 3% at 6 months so that is GREAT) and he is 28 3/4inches long (70%). The doctor was concerned about his Hemocrit levels being low so we are on an additional iron supplement and we will recheck his iron in a month. Garrett LOVES to eat and he will eat anything...especially off of our plates...he loves to eat from a fork too which cracks me up!

I think this picture is HISTERICAL! They were having a CRYING Match one night-they have really started to cry when the other one does...I mean, we were seriously melting down here!

Here we are in our matching pjs! I found these at good ole Walmart on clearance for $3 a pair so I snatched them up and told Kathryn that bugs and frogs were GREAT for girls! She agreed!

Happy Father's Day! It was fun to celebrate for Brad's first Father's Day and he got to play 36 holes of golf on Saturday! YUCK-sounds way too hot for me-but he had a great time with several of his good friends!

Guess that's all I've got for right now...They are really getting fun now and they love to play with each other and us. Life is good!!
